Microsoft has just confirmed that it's going to release a special free-to-play poker game called World Series of Poker: Full House Pro that's set to appear for the Xbox 360 and Windows 8 platforms this spring.

Poker titles are still quite popular, as lots of websites are prospering from players who indulge virtually in the card game.

Now, Microsoft is set to bring the poker action onto its Xbox 360 platform, via the Xbox Live Marketplace, and on the PC one, via the Windows 8 App Store, in the form of World Series of Poker: Full House Pro.

The game is more than just a poker simulator, as players can customize their avatars and explore real-world casinos while on their quest to rack up as many virtual chips as possible.

What's more, World Series of Poker: Full House Pro is a free-to-play experience meaning you won't spend your precious MS Points or real-life cash on it or its various modes.
