A 2-in-1 device is a product that can be used in several distinct configuration, albeit we’re talking of mode of use or the capability of booting between multiple operating systems on it.

A new player to this game, InZero System rolls out the WorkPlay tablet, a product which apparently sports “two hardware-separated operating systems.”

InZero has bundled the slate with its own branded OSs called “WorkZone” and “PlayZone,” based on Android.

What the producing company wants to achieve is here is a clear delimitation between the work and personal environments, in order to prevent the porting of malicious programs from the entertainment ecosystem to the professional one.

The two OSs do not share resources, in order to eliminate the danger of cross-contamination between them. Each zone can be handled separately and be equipped with the Android security apps of choice. The tablet also boasts the AES256 encryption system and a secure boot system.

Switching between the two Zones is said to take a matter of seconds, by virtue of touching a mere switch icon.

The official press release doesn’t mention any of the specs of the tablet, but I can assume it’s a 10-inch tablet. Apart from that, there is no pricing info or availability details.
