Vivendi Games Mobile has prepared a brand new game for all those who like to play on their handsets, a game called "Wordox: Word Snatcher". As you probably already guessed, the new title is a Scrabble-like game, developed by Vivendi based on the Wordox series for PC which, apparently, was very popular some time ago.

Wordox: Word Snatcher is presented as a challenging and fast-paced word puzzle game that comes with both easy and difficult challenges, hence it will probably appeal to novice and to experienced players at the same time. The new game includes a comprehensive dictionary (over 100,000 words), different color themes and a set of unusual rules that allow you to steal the other players' points for yourself.

Word Snatcher has two playing modes, enabling you to play either against the "computer" (when the wise Professor Wordox will come to help you), or against up to other three of your friends, from the same handset. The latter playing mode will surely offer lots of fun moments, especially if your friends know lots of words and prove to be tough competitors.

Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile, said about the new game, "Wordox: Word Snatcher will challenge even the most seasoned word strategy players with more words than ever to play off. The competition will get fierce as players realize they benefit from stealing words to gain points and bonuses for themselves at an attempt to win the game!"

Vivendi says Wordox: Word Snatcher is now available via carriers across Europe, so those who think the game suits their gaming needs should give it a try. Just remember that words like "clamshell", "iPhone" or "iMac" are not actually included in the English dictionary and you'll end up losing if you try to use them too often.
