Just as the Presidential campaign is heating up, here comes a movie that will focus on the heated topic of public education. “Won't Back Down” has gotten a new trailer, which you can see above.

Directed by Daniel Barnz (“Beastly”) from a script he wrote with Brin Hill, the film tells the story of two mothers struggling to make a difference for their kids, who have been failed by the educational system.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis play these two mothers, with supporting roles carried off by Oscar Isaac, Holly Hunter, Ving Rhames, Lance Reddick and Rosie Perez.

“Won't Back Down” will be out in late September this year and, by the looks of the trailer, it will be motivational and convincing, with just a touch of sentimentality for good measure.
