14 DAY TRIAL // A woman currently living in Florida, US, claims that a stylist working at a local salon owes her $1,000 (€746). Apparently, the stylist is expected to cough out this much cash as a means to make amends for giving the woman one really lousy haircut.
The disgruntled salon customer, identified as a grandmother by the name Vyunda Bradshaw, says that, thanks to the clumsy stylist, who accidentally ran her clippers across her hair, she now has a bald spot and all sorts of uneven hairs.
According to CBS Local, the incident occurred at a salon dubbed Great Clips. The grandmother was simply looking to get a haircut, and never expected to leave missing way more hair than she initially meant to part with.
“I said, ‘You can’t use the clippers, you need to use the scissors.’ She said, ‘I’m blending.’ She stepped this way and that’s when she took my hair off,” the woman detailed her horrifying experience in a recent interview.
The grandmother maintains that the awful haircut she got at Great Clips has caused her “pain and suffering,” and has made it nearly impossible for her to get on with her life. “I can't go anywhere with hair looking like this,” she said.
Hoping to solve the problem, the manager at Great Clips offered to buy the woman a wig and give her some free hair products. However, the grandmother more of less politely declined both these offers, and is now looking forward to receiving her $1,000.
Needless to say, the stylist who gave this grandmother the excruciatingly ugly haircut is no longer working at Great Clips. Unfortunately, I have no idea where she might be employed, so that I may warn you.
