14 DAY TRIAL // A shoplifter has been captured on camera in a ridiculous but apparently effective disguise. The person featured in the surveillance image above entered a Boots location in Salisbury and took a bottle of Chanel perfume.
She was wearing sunglasses and a fake moustache and nose. Her accomplice is not in disguise and she is standing behind her.
The incident took place at around 10:30 a.m. on July 22, a spokesperson for the Wiltshire police department tells the Mirror.
The women walked in the store, browsed for perfumes and walked away with a bottle worth £95 ($148 / €112).
"They met up with a man who is described as white, 6ft (183cm) tall, with short dark hair and of medium build. He was wearing a black t-shirt, gray jogging bottoms and trainers," the police rep adds, in the hope of the public coming forward with information.
