14 DAY TRIAL // A new trend in plastic surgery is gaining in popularity: more and more (petite) women want a slim waistline but a perky, protruding backside just like Pippa Middleton, the maid of honor at the British royal wedding. Christina Valdez got just that.
In a new video on Good Morning America on ABC (which you can also see below), Valdez reveals the reasons she decided to get plastic surgery for a backside like Pippa’s, thus confirming what we were saying a while back about the hottest, most in-demand surgery of the moment.
“She’s got a nice rump that’s not too big. Her frame just looked incredible in that dress,” Mrs. Valdez, a single mother from Miami, says of what she thought of Pippa in her Alexander McQueen dress at her sister’s wedding earlier this year.
“I was like, ‘That’s it. This is it, I just have to look like her. If she can look petite and great and still have a nice backside to her, so can I’,” the woman adds.
She went to see a plastic surgeon, asking for “the Pippa butt lift,” as the procedure has come to be known.
Valdez had to gain some weight for the procedure to have the best results, since new fat is easier to mould than old fat.
Basically, in the two-hour surgery, she had fat removed from her abdomen and placed in her backside for more volume. This way, she got both a slimmer waistline and a rounder rear.
“I’ve always had a little bit of a complex with my stomach and trying to fill in the back side a little more. I would absolutely love to be able to wear a nice fitted dress and have my waistline back and a nice rump to go with it,” Valdez says.
Six weeks later, she’s had to change her entire wardrobe because she can now wear more fitting clothes, outfits that make the most of her curvier and better defined figure.
Granted, she admits, she can’t sit down on her new, perkier backside for too long and chances are strong it may decrease in size in the following months but, for the time being, she is perfectly happy.
