14 DAY TRIAL // Yandex Maps, the Russian version of Google Maps, has helped a woman discover that her boyfriend is a cheater.
Gawker tells us that Marina Voinova was looking up an address, which apparently was not her beau's, when she saw him with his arms around another girl.
While the "street view" feature gave her a very decent picture of the couple, she still believed it could be a mistake and confronted him. It was his reaction to the photo that eventually gave him away.
"When Sasha came home, I immediately called him to computer and asked him to find that address in the map. [...] When the image loaded, Sasha's face changed in color. I looked in his eyes, waiting for explanations,” she recalls.
She has dumped him because of the picture, something which he could apparently have prevented. Yandex PR manager Yekaterina Karnaukhova describes that anyone can request to have their faces blurred out of photos on the site.
