Good news for Witcher 3 players, as developer CD Projekt has just announced some of the changes that will be introduced in patch 1.05, which is supposed to be delivered early this week.

As many of you probably know by now, Witcher 3 is affected by an XP glitch that prevents players from receiving experience for the main story quests.

CD Projekt has already acknowledged the issue and has promised that a fix will be delivered in the next patch. For PC players, it will come as patch 1.05, but for console gamers, it will be released as patch 1.04.

Over the weekend, CD Projekt Community Manager Marcin Momot posted a partial list of changes that confirm some of the improvements and bug fixes developers plan to implement in patch 1.05/1.04.

Bigger fonts and fix for the XP issue

Among these changes, he confirmed that the Pyres of Novigrad quest as well as the XP glitch would, of course, be fixed.

The list of changes is quite large, even though it's not the full list. According to Momot, there will be a lot more fixes on the way, which haven't been listed in this partial changelog.

Among the most important improvements included in the upcoming patch are the significantly enlarged GUI and HUD elements (including fonts) on consoles and slightly on PC.

Also, the camera smoothness has been improved. One particular issue that probably annoyed lots of players: Geralt will no longer interact with candles near chests and other interactive elements.

There are a lot more changes confirmed by CD Projekt, but you can see the full list below. As mentioned earlier, this changelog doesn't contain all the bug fixes and improvements that will be included in patch 1.05/1.04.
