The 3920P Wireless Laser Mouse has a 4D scroll wheel as well

Peripherals may have started out as basic tools meant to enable an easier interaction between man and machine, but they're also convenient accessories now, with various assets that you probably don't need but can find much use for anyway, not to mention draw satisfaction from for a job well done.

Well aware of this, Rapoo made sure to include some less than ordinary traits when it put together the 3920P Wireless Laser Mouse, and we don't just mean the advanced Wi-Fi connectivity technology.

Sure, 5 GHz Wi-Fi is really rare among wireless peripherals, as 2.4 GHz bands are usually enough for them, assuming Bluetooth isn't used instead.

Still, in the end, it's just another wireless communication interface, albeit one that promises better range and less interference from every other Wi-Fi-enabled electronic you might own (smartphone, tablets, media player, PC, laptop, etc.).

The laser sensor is one of the really important things here, superior to simple optical ones. It has an adjustable DPI of 800 to 1600 (resolution/accuracy).

The 4D scroll wheel is another thing. Despite looking like any regular scroll wheel (although, admittedly, a fancier one than normal), it allows for four directional movements, meaning you can scroll not just up and down, but left and right as well. Really useful in documents, spreadsheets or particularly expansive Internet pages.

Then, there's the pair of thumb buttons on the left. On the one hand, it kind of plays havoc on left-handed people. On the other, it adds some useful back/forward navigation functions when surfing the web.

Everything is held together in a mostly black frame, that is slightly flatter than usual, albeit with a chrome/silver finish on the central protrusion, the one with the scroll wheel and fourth button right behind it.

In case you were wondering, that button is the one you press whenever you wish to modify the DPI on the fly. Rapoo may have control software for its peripherals, but not having to go to it for every little thing can be really convenient.

On that note, the Rapoo 3920P Wireless Laser Mouse might do just fine in games, in addition to business tasks, because it has everything a gaming mouse would possess except the overabundance of buttons and intricate design.

The new Rapoo 3920P Wireless Laser Mouse should be up for sale already at a price of $39.99 / €30 (€39.99 if you're used to not seeing exchange rates being reflected by reality).
