Just as the world seems to warm up to the idea of forgiving Mel Gibson for his rage outbursts and the hurtful comments he makes when he has them, Winona Ryder puts him on blast again, telling GQ she knew how he was since back in the day.

The actress is featured in the latest issue of GQ magazine to promote the critically acclaimed “Black Swan” and, among other things, she also touches upon the subject of the much derided these days Gibson.

According to Ryder, she saw Gibson’s true colors as early as 15 years ago, when she met him by chance and was completely shocked by how rude he was to her and her friend.

She also tried to tell the rest of the world that Gibson masked his fury and true feelings but no one would listen to her back then, she says.

“Fifteen years ago, I was at one of those big Hollywood parties. And he was really drunk,” Ryder recalls. “I was with my friend, who’s gay. [Gibson] made a really horrible gay joke,” she adds.

And the offenses did not stop here, either, the actress explains.

“Somehow it came up that I was Jewish. He said something about ‘oven dodgers,’ but I didn’t get it. I’d never heard that before. It was just this weird, weird moment,” Winona says.

She even vouches she tried to warn others of Gibson’s tendencies, but no wanted to pay attention to her. “I was like, ‘He’s anti-Semitic and he’s homophobic.’ No one believed me!” says Ryder.

The same GQ interview also brings other important details for Ryder fans, who rarely get the chance to see her do media interviews: like, how she’s still struggling to work her iPhone, how she dealt with fame at such an early age, a pill addiction, that shoplifting incident and, believe it or not, how she doesn’t know who Justin Bieber is.
