Microsoft has uploaded an interesting collection of training videos to YouTube, focusing on offering insight into its server offerings tailored to small business customers.

Make sure to check out the Small Business Server 2011 content on SmallBusinessServer's Channel on YouTube, and access a range of training materials offered free of charge.

The videos cover a range of topics, including licenses, upgrades, features, capabilities, etc. available to users.

It’s important to note that the training content focuses on both SKUs of Windows Small Business Server 2011, namely Essentials and Standard.

Small businesses customers that read Softpedia might have already read about the release of Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard in December 2010.

It took Microsoft a while, but at the end of March 2011, the software giant also released Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials to manufacturing.

According to the Redmond company, Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials will hit commercial availability on May 1st, 2011.

This particular edition of Windows SBS 2011 is offered to customers in the following languages: Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan), Chinese (Hong Kong), Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.

“Many OEMs and System Builders have already started building specific form factors and solutions based on SBS 2011 Essentials. We expect to start seeing them in the market starting May,” Microsoft stated.

“The evaluation for SBS 2011 Essentials will be released in early April. SBS 2011 Essentials will be made available on MSDN and TechNet also in early April.”

SBS 2011 Essentials is recommended for customers with no more than 25 users in total. Companies with a larger number of workers can leverage SBS 2011 Standard, which is a much more complex solution than Essentials.
