A new WP7 build pushed to devices each day

Two new video previews with Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system have just emerged into the wild. The new clips were shot in New York City, where Microsoft presented some of its latest achievements, the mobile platform included. In the first video, one would have the chance to take a look at the same Windows Phone 7 prototype that emerged in a video yesterday, while the second video brings forth a Samsung prototype device running under Microsoft's OS.

According to Pockectnow, which came up with the second video below, the Windows Phone 7 devices they saw were “a bit thick;” yet, the mobile phones that would be pushed to the shelves later during the ongoing year are expected to prove much nicer. Since these are prototype devices, and the OS running on them is not the final build, it was natural for things to seem somehow unfinished. Even so, the platform is said to be performing pretty well, even if the video shows some problems with the network connectivity.

Among the details the news site brought to light, we can count the fact that handsets taste a new Windows Phone 7 build each and every day. This is not the first time we learn this, and the move suggests that Microsoft is indeed in the final stages of development with the mobile operating system. In other words, it might not be too long before it announces Windows Phone 7 as being released to manufacturers.

There are a great deal of novelties to expect from the new platform, including integration with some of Microsoft's existing services, such as Zune and Xbox LIVE. Each Windows Phone 7 handset would require a Windows LIVE ID to be used, and, as soon as one is entered, the user would have access to all the services associated with the operating system, including those aimed at gaming, music, cloud storage of files, and more.
