Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system has got its own Facebook client software the Redmond company developed especially for mobile phones, and while some early builds of the application have been already spotted in the wild, it seems that the final version of the software is getting closer to a release date.

Due to the near launch of the application, Microsoft has already unveiled to the world the entire feature list it will come with, and among them we can count FaceBookProfile, which offers users the possibility to view their profile, while also allowing them to update status, write on wall, add photos and videos, as well as send messages.

Other features of the application include News feeds, offering users the option to compose, view, reply and delete items, Status updates, allowing to view, update and change pictures, or Photos and videos, which includes the possibility to upload and view pictures, people-tag, geo-tag, auto upload to Facebook, read photo details, and make comments. One thing that should be mentioned here is that the application seems to be the only one that will allow Windows Mobile users to upload videos directly from their mobile phone.

They will also be able to access the profile of their friends and to invite, comment on status, view full profile, and email, SMS or call from profile, view, send and reply to emails, post and delete items on the wall, view, poke and accept notifications, or confirm friend requests and invites directly from their handsets.

Not only that the development of the application is a great thing, but the presence of some exclusive features with it should make us rejoice as well. Not to mention the fact that Microsoft is also reported to be working on the development of a MySpace client for the Windows Mobile platform. For what it's worth, the Redmond company seems determined to offer users the best social networking experience on the phones powered by its OS.
