Who would have thought that Windows 7 makes a perfect bundle of joy upgrade? The Redmond-based company has released the first video advertisement for its latest iteration of the Windows client, and it’s, well, cute. You will be able to see the entire ad via the video embedded at the bottom of this article, and you’ll have to agree with me that the cuteness level is through the roof. The "Good News - Windows 7 Commercial" features Kylie, and glimpses from various reviews of the operating system.

Fact is that Windows 7 has been receiving excellent reviews since Beta Build 7000 made its debut in January 2009. While Apple’s OS X Snow Leopard has Mac fanboys on the barricades defending the release against a growing barrage of criticism, Windows 7 has been cruising through development milestones, with some users urging Microsoft to jump the gun and release it early, contending that the operating system was done at Release candidate level.

And since Beta, Windows 7 has been winning over users test driving the early releases of the platform. The Kylie Good News ad simply cashes in on the operating system’s success months ahead of general availability. Put together by the Cripsin Porter + Bogusky advertising agency, the commercial focuses on Kylie, who’s making a reappearance in Windows-related marketing content.

Earlier this year, Kylie was featured in another I’m a PC video advertisement, also from the I’m a PC campaign put together by Cripsin Porter + Bogusky. And by the looks of it, the Good News effort around Windows 7 is just getting started. In this context, Europa’s Final Countdown is illustrative of the fast approaching October 22nd, 2009, and of the fact that more happy is coming, just watch the ad, and you’ll understand.
