A new release of a mammoth operating system like Windows is never just about the bits that end up on customers’ computers. Microsoft has to labor extensively in order to get the software and hardware ecosystem of products aligned with a new version of Windows, as well as update documentation and provide new content designed to streamline the usage of the product for IT professionals, developers, and end users. As far as business users are concerned, the Redmond company is offering a number of short videos set up to highlight how Windows 7 can increase productivity.

“New on the Small Business website are 8 brief videos, providing hints and tips on getting the most out of Windows 7. If you’re wondering how Windows 7 can help you work more quickly and more productively take a few minutes to watch these videos and you’ll find out,” revealed a member of the Microsoft Small Business team.

Users will be able to find the new Windows 7 videos on the “The 60 second business insider” webpage hosted on the Microsoft Small Business Center. At the same time, I also included links to download content at the bottom of this article. Of course, “The 60 second business insider” webpage features additional videos, that span beyond the Windows 7 topic, and business users are encouraged to take a look.

“To help you get more out of your Microsoft software we’ve put together a variety of 60 second business insider podcasts. Ever wondered how to use the category feature in Outlook? Or how to create a distribution list? Would you like to learn how to use Excel pivot tables properly? And how to produce a professional sales presentation in just a few minutes? These brief videos will show you how you can quickly and easily learn new skills that will boost your productivity," Microsoft noted.
