The new addition sounds like a war farmer's dream, a 40 vs. 40 players battle royale

NCsoft and Carbine Studios have just introduced the "40 vs. 40 battle royale," with a nice video to showcase what the new Warplots are all about.

Wildstar is genuinely shaping up to be a really interesting game, with its colorful visuals and humorous approach, as well as the variety of options afforded to massively multiplayer online role-playing games enthusiasts.

The developers over at Carbine Studios are constantly adding new stuff to the game, appearing to be on the right track and holding nothing back, thankfully not sharing the "DLC on day 1" mentality.

As such, they have recently added Adventures, which function like a kind of holodeck, where players can mix and match various gameplay elements from other genres in order to achieve a nearly limitless potential of fun.

The newly-announced Warplots are a bit deceivingly named, as they are not so much about nefarious schemes as they are about huge mobile battlestations that players can ride into insane 40 vs. 40 PvP clashes.

Warplots can be customized and upgraded with various plugs which fit neatly into the numerous war slots on your Warplot. It is like farming, only with turrets. There is a wide variety of available plugs, from orbital cannons to traps and turrets and even beasts captured during dungeon raids.

That sounds like an incredibly original idea, pummeling down a huge nasty ogre in a dungeon in order to enslave it on your plot. Well, it's not going to be all that easy, as Warplots are part of Wildstar's end game content, only available for level-50 players.

Winning one of the massive 40 vs. 40 PvP battles will, of course, pile uncountable rewards on the victors, whereas the losing side will walk away with shame and a few dents in its Warplot, which translates into a hefty refitting bill.

The trailer is, naturally, delivered in the same inane and lovable tone that Carbine has accustomed us with and that makes their game stand out. I mean, who wouldn't want a rocket house?

Wildstar is currently in beta, and pre-orders for the game are available on the game's website. The massively multiplayer online role-playing game will be fully released on June 3, on PC.

All pre-order customers will gain exclusive access to several closed and beta events, as well as being granted access to the game a bit earlier, on May 31, a full three days before the full release, so if you don't have a beta key yet and you're interested in the game, you might as well go for it.
