Imagine the Wiimote possibilities

Looks like EA is getting ready to release two new versions of the Godfather video game, but this time we're talking about a Nintendo Wii and PS3 version. They have just announced these two games, the PS3 version is called The Godfather The Don's Edition and the Wii version is called The Godfather Blackhand Edition.

Pro-G has the word and they reveal that The Godfather The Don's Edition will include all the missions and gameplay found in The Corleone Expansion Pack and also, they point out that the game will have SIXAXIS support. According to EA, if you want to "manhandle the in-game characters" you'll have to manhandle the controller.

The Wii version of the game, The Godfather Blackhand Edition will have to offer a new gameplay experience and will take advantage of the Wii's motion-based controller to the fullest. Apparently, the Wii game will have "pinpoint firearm accuracy", meaning you will use the Wiimote to take aim.

By the looks of it, the "new" games will offer brand new ways to go from Soldier to Don, but you will have to follow the path of an Enforcer or Operator. Much like Scarface (if you played it) you will have to mingle with dirty cops and take down members of the rival Families.

Both titles are being developed by EA Redwood Shores and by the looks of it, they will come out in March of this year.
