As there are trying to promote their upcoming games console, Wii, Nintendo has decided to start a sampling campaign, that will allow gamers to play Wii for free. The campaign will last about two months and will cover some 60 locations.

The lucky ones that are going to benefit from this offer have to be U.K. residents or at least they have to be in the U.K. between November 10th, 2006 and January 13th, 2007. No word is out about a sampling campaign in the US or in Japan.

The European launch of the Wii is set for December 8, much later than the North American and Japanese launch. Unlike other game consoles out there, the Wii will have available several types of connectivity systems including Wi-FI, Bluetooth, USB and LAN Adapter.

As the Wii launches, it will have available an impressive number of game titles including: Call of Duty 3, Madden NFL 07, Metal Slug Anthology, Barnyard, WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Need for Speed Carbon, Red Steel and many, many others.

The most innovative feature of the Wii will be the Wii Remote controller. You will be able to control game characters just by waving it in front of the screen.
