Just one significant new entry

In the United Kingdom, Wii Fit, the Nintendo Wii sensation relying on the Balance Board add on in order to make people lose weight and improve their health, sits at the top of the sales chart, managing to take down the best sold game of last week, FIFA 09 from EA Sports. The football title, which began the year in the top position, is now only at number four, managing to hold off a determined challenge from Wii Play, another Nintendo game.

Call of Duty: World at War is at number two and it seems that the game from Treyarch will be a bigger hit with shooter fans than Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, launched in late 2007 and selling well even today.

The only significant release of the week, The Lord of the Rings: Conquest, developed by Pandemic and published by Electronic Arts, sits at number three in the chart, as it debuts for the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

The game allows players to experience Tolkien's War of the Ring from the perspective of the good or evil sides, while allowing the player to choose from four character classes. The biggest problem reviewers have pointed out is the fact that the experience lacks the epic feel of the movie and the books, which means that it's sales success will probably be short lived.

Need For Speed Undercover, despite being written off as a disappointment by Electronic Arts, still managed to sell well enough to reach sixth place, closely tailed by Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, which is popular with the younger crowd, and Guitar Hero: World Tour from Activision.

Another Wii title, Carnival: Funfair Games is at number nine, while the DS exclusive Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training is the last game in the top ten.
