In his televised public apology, golfer Tiger Woods said, among other things, that his wife Elin Nordegren never physically hurt him, not on the night he crashed his car on a neighbor’s lawn, nor on any other occasion. Reports saying that she hit him with a golf club back in November were, thus, pure rubbish. With all this, paramedics’ reports show their case was labeled “domestic,” TMZ informs.

The celebrity gossip e-zine / paparazzi agency got a hold of reports written on the night of the November crash and they show that, at least at first, paramedics handled the case as a domestic violence one. Because of this, Nordegren was not allowed to ride to the hospital in the same ambulance as her husband because of suspicion that some of the injuries he had sustained had been inflicted by her. Certainly, this doesn’t prove that Elin was abusive to her husband, but it adds to the pile of evidence and speculation pointing to it.

“Elin Nordegren was not allowed to ride in the same ambulance as Tiger Woods after his November car crash because the ambulance crew thought it was a domestic violence incident, this according to new documents released by the Florida Highway Patrol. The document, written by an FHP trooper who responded to the scene, reads, ‘As the paramedics loaded [Tiger] into a Health Central Ambulance, one of the crew stated that [Tiger’s] wife could not go in ambulance because this was a domestic’.” TMZ says.

“The document states that the officer ‘never heard [Tiger] speak or [Tiger’s] wife make any such statement about domestic violence’. The docs also show Elin handed over two bottles of pain pills to troopers following Tiger’s November 27 crash,” the same e-zine further says. As also noted above, this doesn’t confirm that Elin smashed Tiger’s face with a golf club, as reports say she did, but it adds to ongoing speculation.

In other Tiger Woods news, the golfer is working hard on making his comeback possible – and has hired former presidential advisor to George W. Bush, Ari Fleischer, to help him clean his image. Fleischer also helped Mark McGwire recover after a similar scandal.
