“A better way” for tablets arrives in the UK. Lenovo’s brand new Yoga slates have landed at Currys and PC World and are available for ordering.

The Chinese manufacturer introduced the two tablets with the help of Hollywood actor Asthon Kutcher, at a media event held in Los Angeles, not so long ago.

So let’s see what you’ll get if you decide to go ahead and purchase one of these models. Both the 8-inch and 10-inch slates feature a pixel resolution of 1280 x 800. The Yogas are powered by 1.2GHz MT8125 quad-core processors (or MT8389 quad-core processors for 3G models) coupled with 1GB of RAM.

Note that the 3G models listed on Currys website seem to be currently “Out of stock,” so shoppers will be left to choose between the Wi-Fi models, for the moment. Lenovo said it would be offering 16GB and 32GB options for onboard storage, but so far we’re seeing only the 16GB models.

Lenovo packed two cameras (5MP rear one and 1.6MP frontal webcam) plus Bluetooth and micro USB.

Those purchasing the devices until Wednesday will also be getting a £20 in-store voucher. Grab the Yoga 8-inch 16GB slate for £199.99 / $322 / €238 and the Yoga 10-inch 16GB version for £249.99 / $402 / €298.
