Publisher Deep Silver and developer Doublesix have announced that launch of two new booster packs for Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?, allowing fans of the trivia game to focus on either music of football and find the answer to a number of new challenges.

The new content is being sold on the PlayStation Network service from Sony and on the Xbox Live Arcade for those playing on the Xbox 360.

The Music themed booster pack offers no less than 600 questions linked mostly to rock and pop acts and includes leaderboards to challenge both family and friends.

The Football booster pack also includes 600 questions and allows true fans to reach the million dollar prize as long as they perfect their knowledge of the rules and the performances of the best players.

The two downloadable content packages have been created by the developer in collaboration with 2waytraffic International, a company that is part of the Sony Pictures Television, the owner of the Who Wants To Be a Millionaire franchise all over the world.

At the moment the two packs will be offered to all those interested in the game apart from those who reside in North America, Canada and Mexico.

The official price for each of the two DLCs costs 240 Microsoft Points or 2.99 Euros for those who get them on the PSN.

Deep Silver is a publisher best known for distributing titles like the recent Dead Island, the zombie based action role playing game from Techland that appeared this summer, the STALKER series, who’s future is now under threat, Sacred II; Fallen Angels and Risen, the recent spiritual successor for Gothic.

Recently the video game market has begun to shift away from hardcore titles and towards more casual offerings that can appeal to a wider audience, like Who Wants To Be a Millionaire.
