Nancy Grace hints that Whitney Houston might have been killed, sparks frenzy online

CNN anchor Nancy Grace wants to find out who is responsible for Whitney Houston's death and whether those people will be held accountable for what they did. Her comments during a recent CNN transmission have caused a frenzy online.

The first video below, embedded at the end of the article, shows Nancy linking the death of Whitney to the cases of Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson, where there is actual evidence that they could have been saved.

For the time being, the cause of death in Whitney's case has not even been determined yet, pending the results of the ongoing police investigation and of the toxicology tests.

However, Nancy Grace is talking about her death as if the rumors now making the rounds online are facts.

“I'd like to know who was around her, who, if anyone gave her drugs – following alcohol and drugs – and who let her slip, or pushed her, underneath that water? Apparently, no signs of force or trauma to the body...” she says.

Police have already confirmed that Houston's body was removed from the bathtub when paramedics responded to the scene.

“Who let Whitney Houston go under her water?” Grace further asks, implying that someone might have killed the legendary singer.

In response to these claims and, in particular, to the media frenzy they have generated, a spokesperson for the Beverly Hills Police Department has issued a statement to set the record straight – see the second video below.

It is true that Whitney Houston was found unconscious and unresponsive in the bathtub but, for the time being, there are no signs to indicate a homicide investigation is necessary.

Police are now conducting a death investigation, whose only purpose is to establish the exact cause of death.

“This is a normal investigation for death of someone of [Whitney's] age,” the spokesperson says.

It is believed that Houston took a fatal combination of prescription drugs and alcohol, fell asleep in the bathtub and drowned – or she might have died even before she went underwater.
