There was a time when everything that Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only daughter of late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, also known as Krissi, did would instantly make headlines, but she seems to have found the key to keeping a secret because she married Nick Gordon in the utmost secrecy.

The other day, Krissi posted the image attached to this article on her Twitter, with the caption, “#HappilyMarried So #Inlove if you didn't get it the first time that is.”

This way, without issuing a press statement or talking to any media outlet, she’s letting the world know that she and beau Nick have finally made it official. They became engaged in October 2012 but were on a break for some time, reconciling in July 2013.

Krissi and Nick’s romance received a lot of media attention at first because they grew up together, with Whitney taking him in when he was still a child and raising him as if he were her own son. She never filed adoption papers, but she always considered him her son, which made the romance a bit awkward.

Even Whitney’s own mother did not approve of it at first, saying she’d come to consider Nick family and that she would have never expected him to “do this.” At the time, she believed he was taking advantage of Krissi, who was still devastated after her mother’s death.

It turns out, they were made for each other because, regardless the opposition they met with from the entire world, not just family, they stood by each other’s side.

A scroll through Bobbi Kristina’s tweets reveal that they may have actually tied the knot last year, because a September 2013 post from Nick reads, “just upgraded the ring and added two bands #blingbling,” and comes with a pic of her wedding band.

In December too, she was tweeting about the pleasure of cuddling in bed with her favorite man in the whole wide world, her “hubby,” so all signs point out to this happening sometime in 2013.
