14 DAY TRIAL // The SiriusXM channel is celebrating Whitney Houston's 50th birthday by playing her music almost exclusively throughout Friday, August 9.
They have named the event the SiriusXM “Heart & Soul’s Golden Celebration for Whitney Elizabeth Houston’s 50th Birthday,” the notices on their website read.
According to UPI, the program debuts on Friday at 9:00 a.m. ET and ends on Saturday, August 10, at 3:00 a.m. ET. The artist has been awarded six Grammies over the years.
Tributes from R. Kelly, CeCe Winans, Narada Michael Walden, Kashif, and others will also be played by the channel.
They are also offering copies of the “Whitney: Tribute To An Icon” book with a signature by the singer's sister-in-law, Pat Houston. Five winners of the books are set to be announced at the end of the day.
