The Samsung Galaxy S smartphone is already available for purchase on the Australian market, and a new flavor of the device is set to make Vodafone's customers enjoy even more their mobile experience, namely a white Galaxy S.

The mobile phone carrier has already put the new device on its website and says it is available for pre-order, with expected shipping date in early January, which means that it should start being delivered pretty soon.

The Samsung Galaxy S proved one of the most popular Android-based mobile phones of the last year, and Samsung announced recently that it managed to sell a number of over 10 million units in the past 7 months.

The white flavor of the phone should include about the same specs and features as the usual, black variant, only that it would have the back cover all white when launched in Australia. Ausdroid notes that no exact info on how much of the device would be white emerged.

“Your new Samsung Galaxy S White will ship early January. EXCLUSIVE to Vodafone. Online only. The Galaxy S comes with a host of cutting-edge features: 4.0" Super Amoled Display, Android OS, HD Video recording, Social Hub, abundant apps and more,” the wireless carrier notes,

Vodafone says it managed to score an exclusivity deal on this device, and lists it on its online store as available for $0 upfront on the $85 per month plan (Total minimum cost over 24 months is $ 2040), or for $15 per month on the $45 monthly plan (minimum cost over 24 months is $1440).

The mobile phone is available on the $29 per month Vodafone cap as well, for $14 per month (Total minimum cost over 24 months is $696), or for $0 upfront on the $79 per month Cap (Total minimum cost over 24 months is $1896).

Those of you interested in benefiting from this deal should head over to Vodafone Australia's website here to learn more on the offering.
