14 DAY TRIAL // The white-flavored Motorola RAZR has finally hit shelves in UAE. The smartphone will soon be available for purchase through authorized third-party retailers.
Android enthusiasts living in UAE can now purchase both original Black and pristine White color combinations. However, Motorola also launched a purple version of the RAZR, which is exclusively available in the United States through Verizon Wireless.
There’s no word on the white Motorola RAZR, but UAE-based retailers should offer this one for the same price as the black version.
Specs-wise, white Motorola RAZR has the same features as its black twin brother, but comes with a little tint of sex-appeal, meant to attract customers who had any doubts that the RAZR was the perfect choice for them.
“Since we re-imagined the iconic RAZR brand, the new Motorola RAZR has wowed consumers in the UAE with its beauty inside and out,” said Raed Hafez, managing director for Motorola Mobility, Middle East & Africa.
Built to last, Motorola RAZR’s display features Corning Gorilla Glass coating for extra protection. Moreover, the back cover of the smartphone is made of KEVLAR fiber, while the insides and outsides are protected by a splash-guard coating.
Talking about the insides of the handset, Motorola RAZR packs a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
The phone runs Google’s Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system, which is upgradeable to Ice Cream Sandwich. In addition, the phone is pre-loaded with the Motorola MotoCast app, allowing users to stream or download content from a computer directly to the device.
