Fans of LG's Optimus 3D will be happy to know that the white flavor of the Android smartphone is now available in the UK.

The white version of the Optimus 3D is now available for purchase from UK major retailer Phones 4u, on Orange, O2 and Vodafone.

The smartphone is available for free with plans starting from £30 per month that offers subscribers 500 minutes, 3000 texts and 500MB of mobile data.

It can also be purchased for £79.00 from Vodafone with a two-year agreement with £20.50 per month plan, or for £59.00 with a new two-year contract with £21.50 per month plan.

However, T-Mobile UK has yet to put a price tag on the white version of the Optimus 3D, whereas the carrier only retails the black variant for the moment.

For those out of the loop, the Optimus 3D is equipped with a powerful dual-core and dual channel ARM Cortex-A9 TI OMAP4430 processor, which is clocked at 1GHz and complemented by a PowerVR SGX540 GPU.

Even though the phone is delivered with Google's Android 2.2 (Froyo) on board, LG has already confirmed that the Gingerbread upgrade will be deployed beginning October.

On the inside, the Optimus 3D packs 512 MB RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Obviously, the main attraction of the phone is the large 4.3-inch 3D LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution, which provides users the possibility to enjoy 3D content without the need of glasses.

The Optimus 3D comes with dual 5-megapixel stereoscopic 3D cameras, so users will be able to capture crystal-clear 3D images and record 720p HD 3D videos.

According to the manufacturer, the phone's 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery should provide up to 450 hours of standby time or up to 9 hours of talk time in 3G mode.
