For the past several days, there’s been much talk about Jay-Z and Beyonce’s trip to Cuba on their wedding anniversary. The rapper has chosen to respond to critics the best way he knows: by releasing a new track.

As you will notice, Jay namedrops Obama, suggesting that his trip to Cuba got clearance from the White House, so, in other words, he and Bey got preferential, VIP treatment.

“Obama said chill, you gonna get me impeached/ But you don't need this [expletive] anyway/ Chill with me on the beach,” he raps.

Following even more controversy that the two would have this kind of pull with the President of the United States, Jay Carney explained the Obama mention in the track in a recent press conference.
