O2 and Vodafone will carry it, T-Mobile will carry it, and it was only a matter of time before Orange also announced plans to add the white flavor of Samsung Galaxy S II to its offering.

The mobile phone will arrive on shelves will all of the features and capabilities the original Galaxy S II arrived on shelves with, save for the white coat, of course.

The handset was already a highly appealing mobile phone, and the white dressing will certainly make it more appealing, especially for fashion conscious users.

However, the white Galaxy S II will retain the powerful capabilities that Samsung packed inside it, and will also provide users with a great deal of features powered by the Google Android 2.3 OS.

The Galaxy S II smartphone features a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display, along with a powerful 1.2GHZ dual-core application processor hidden beneath it.

Moreover, the mobile phone comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory cards slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

“Want a phone that will push the boundaries? Try the Samsung Galaxy S II in white. The dual-core 1.2 Ghz processor coupled with Android 2.3 handles any task with lightning speed,” the wireless carrier notes on its website.

“Meanwhile, the 4.3-inch touchscreen with 16 million colours makes for a highly intuitive visual experience every time you communicate with friends.

“A high calibre 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and face detection also ensures your photos look out of this world.”

The specifications list of the white Galaxy S II smartphone also includes support for HD video recording, as well as FM radio RDS, built0-in GPS receiver, 3.5mm headphone jack, and the usual set of sensors.

The mobile phone also comes with support for the Android Market, where users will find thousands of applications and games available for download, as well as for Google Mobile Services like Search, Maps, Gmail, Calendar, and YouTube.

Orange has already listed the Galaxy S II on its website with a “coming soon” tag next to it, here. The phone will be put for sale for free for select monthly plans.
