One of the yet unannounced smartphones from Research In Motion, namely the BlackBery 9780, has just made a new appearance into the wild, showing that its maker is set to offer it on the market in more than just one color version.

The white BlackBery 9780 can be seen in the photo to the left, available courtesy of BerryCN (via Phone Arena), but no info on when we would be able to grad the device emerged until now.

However, some of the previous rumors on the mobile phone suggested that we're to see it on shelves sometime in October.

Moreover, in case you have questions about its availability, we should note that previous speculations place the device on T-Mobile's airwaves, suggesting that AT&T might also get it soon.

For the time being, it seems that the one thing that still has to be done is for RIM to announce the handset officially to the world, for specific details on its availability and pricing would certainly emerge at that time.

In case there are some of you who might have not encountered the BlackBery 9780 before, we should note that it is expected to become available as a Bold 9700 refresh.

The rumored specifications list of this device would include a 2.44-inch screen that boasts a 480 x 360 pixels resolution, as well as a 624MHz processor, which are the same as on the older Bold 9700 model.

Moreover, the handset should pack a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, as well as 512MB of RAM, and the new BlackBerry 6 OS, with its new Webkit browser and the new UI.

We've already spotted the upcoming Bold 9700 refresh into the wild in various photos and videos, with one of them showing how it goes along with the new platform version.

It is not unusual for RIM to launch white versions of its devices into the wild, though they do come in limited quantities and only to select markets or carriers.
