Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion decided it was high time to change a little the color options some of its BlackBerry smartphones are available in on the market, and now a white BlackBerry Curve 8520 is available for purchase from T-Mobile. Priced at $129.99, the white flavor of the device can be already seen on T-Mobile's website, from where users can acquire it with a BlackBerry data service.

As many of you might already know, it was only yesterday that AT&T was rumored to plan on releasing a white version of BlackBerry Bold 9000 in the near future, and it seems that today that rumor proves to be one step closer to becoming reality. The white BlackBerry Curve 8520 available from T-Mobile comes with the same features as the black version, including the QWERTY keyboard layout that BlackBerry users are already familiar with.

In case some of you might have forgotten what the BlackBerry Curve 8520 comes to the market with, here's a little reminder: support for 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz frequencies, Wi-Fi connectivity, a 2-Megapixel photo snapper, Instant messaging, Picture messaging, Video Messaging E-mail support, syncing of contacts, calendar and tasks with Microsoft Outlook, music player with external controls, Voice dialing, and a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space.

The white BlackBerry Curve 8520, T-Mobile says, measures 2.4 x 4.3 x 0.5 inches and weighs 3.8 ounces. The handset also includes an 1150 mAhr Lion battery able to deliver up to 4.5 hours of talk time, or up to 17 days of standby time. A series of services are also available with the mobile phone from T-Mobile, including the BlackBerry Unlimited Web or the BlackBerry Unlimited Web + Unlimited Messages, whichever suits users best.

Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, Caller ID and Web Browsing are also available with the device. Those who would like to take a closer look at the white BlackBerry Curve 8520 or want to purchase it from T-Mobile should head to this page.
