At least, one third of the men still have a chance

How is the perfect man in the eyes of a woman? You may have heard many opinions, but this time it turned scientific: Ukdating.com has made a research on 40,000 women to find how Mr. Right should be.

Most of the findings are not surprising: he must be clean-shaven, good-looking and drive a silver Mercedes, but before all, to be taller than 178cm (5ft 10in). Add to this the blue eyes, short dark-brown hair and medium build; and Daily Mail has even found a candidate: film star Jake Gyllenhaal.

The perfect lover must adore pets (only 1 % of women would accept a guy who hates pets) and offer the woman fine wine, theater tickets and dinners at nice restaurants. He should wear smart jeans and a posh T-shirt, weigh around 80.5kg (177 pounds) and if he is a doctor or lawyer earning $ 65,000 annually and possessing a home in the Home Counties and evaluated at about $ 600,000, that's even better.

He also must have experience, at least 3 relationships in his history, but no more than 6 sexual partners,; he shouldn't have been married or have any children. University degree gives a lot of extra-points, while smokers and football fans are largely rejected.

"The female daters on our website certainly know what they want and they are not afraid to let the men know. They are looking for a man in a similar way to looking for a mortgage -- by going to websites, saying what they want and comparing what is out there", said David Brown, managing director of Ukdating.com.

Fortunately, only two thirds of the women look for Mr. Right; one third would give us a chance. 68 % of the subjects preferred a man with a wacky sense of humor.

21 % of the subjects wanted "cuddly lovers", while 16 % preferred balding Bruce Willis like partner. 11 % wanted a ginger man and 18 % a gray haired one. 28 % of the women were not interested on wage (this is a real surprise!...).

Facial hair pointed: 28 % of the subjects preferred a goatee and 21 % a man with a moustache. Still, just 2 % of women declared they wouldn't mind having a partner less than 152 cm (5 ft 1 in) tall.
