New versions of Keynote, Pages and Numbers for iOS are available from Apple with the confirmation from Cupertino that all iDevices now support the productivity apps.

Updated to version 1.4 yesterday, Pages, Keynote and Numbers each have their separate release notes, but one tweak is common among the three - “Universal app designed for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.”

But there are specific changes to be noted as well. Pages 1.4 has a new document manager that allows you to easily sort your documents and organize them into folders.

The ability to change font style and size directly from the ruler when editing text has been added as well, alongside smart Zoom for viewing and editing data.

Keynote 1.4 adds support for the Keynote Remote app which enables users to control their presentation from another iPhone or iPod touch. Keynote Remote is sold separately via the App Store for 99 cents. The new document manager for easy sorting of documents is also present in the new Keynote iOS app.

Numbers 1.4 incorporates the document manager too, and improves usability, including Smart Zoom for viewing and editing data.

Announcing that iWork had become available for iPhone and iPod touch customers, Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, said: “Now you can use Keynote, Pages and Numbers on iPhone and iPod touch to create amazing presentations, documents and spreadsheets right in the palm of your hand.”

“The incredible Retina display, revolutionary Multi-Touch interface and our powerful software make it easy to create, edit, organize and share all of your documents from iPhone 4 or iPod touch,” added Schiller.

Apple has confirmed that Keynote, Pages and Numbers are universal apps that run on iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 3rd generation and iPod touch 4th generation.
