Weird headphones. Truly weird!

So, here we go writing about some pictures depicting a piece of technology and try to figure what's on. Now, this is truly weird: seeing some headphones looking that unusual and nobody actually knowing what they're really about (maybe except for the producers and those who know Japanese) is quite something. Especially as the headphones I'm telling you about look rather good and with a very neat and even trust-inspiring design.

The name couldn't be more confusing: Mu-Bot. First I thought about 2 things: Mu-the game and "Bot" for "robot"; and I was all wrong as it has absolutely nothing to do with either of them. Other editors on the web have described it briefly and only from what they also thought it could be; nevertheless, even though we all agree that the Mu-Bot are a pair of cool-type headphones we still aren't that sure about utility or fashion.

OK, let's recapitulate: as you can see in the pictures, they go in the shape of a little humanoid puppet whose arms are the proper earpieces. I could go as far as to say that the cable (they do have cables, look better!) is somehow reeled inside. Ah, and they have a small clip so you can attach them on your t-shirt, backpack straps and so on!

Other things I could tell you is that Sega Toys, the guys who released this stuff seem pretty sure the thing is cool - hence the happy colors of the website presenting it. Now, since I can't read crap in Japanese, I can't but assume they go like "try the new little man-thingie-headphones as they will go perfectly in your ears and with your iPod".

Now, if your think this is the final-type of headphones you should use before you achieve the utmost level of coolness (remember the clip-thing?) you can wait just a bit longer, until April 21st and have some $25 ready.
