Kingtec's KT600 Diagnostic System

There are people who love their cars more than they love their wives. They only want what's best for them and even tend to the car's every need. They wash them, wax them and vacuum every bit of dust. They even vacuum the dust that's not there.

Chinese company Kingtec has a special device for them with the help of which they will be able to actually read the car's mind and find out what's bothering "her".

The KT600 Diagnostic System allows car enthusiasts and professionals alike to scan the car for problems or to see different statistics. The device can be powered in four ways: AC power outlet, vehicle battery, cigarette igniter and from its own battery, and it connects to the car via the diagnosis socket.

Compatible car brand include Buick, Chevrolet, Ford, BMW, Citroen, Fiat, Peugeot, Volvo, VW-Audi, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, Toyota, Hyundai, KIA and some other Chinese vehicles, which we shall not name here. It's interesting to note that Mercedes is not in the list.

The KT600 Diagnostic System even has its own printer for outputing the reports and a CF card slot. All the functions are accessed via the 6.4-inch LCD touch-sensitive color screen.

Now here's the funny part. The diagnostic unit comes with its own auto technical dictionary, which is good. The problem is that the site and the user manual are written in extremely poor English, so non-Chinese people who buy the gizmo might have a difficult time translating the technical mumbo-jumbo.

Other than that, if you really want to read the car's mind (provided it's not an ancient model, which does not have a chip), the KT600 Diagnostic System might be just the thing.

If you don't find the Chinese-English a little bit confusing, go pay Kingtec a visit to find out more.
