More and more moves done by the video platform

The video platform owned by Google is quite busy nowadays because the parent company prepares something that would revolutionize the Internet video services and assure the leader position to the Mountain View firm. Since it was acquired by Google in October 2006 for $1.65 billion, YouTube grew up a lot and became the leader of its category without any powerful competitor to challenge the search giant. Although several companies announced their plans to fight with Google for the video platform, YouTube remained the leader and will remain so for a long period of time as there is no other product capable to compete with it.

But there's something unexpected that might appear soon and the Mountain View giant gave us several reasons to believe that. First of all, it seems like Google will build a new flavor of YouTube, especially addressed to corporate users that will be accessible only by paying for it. It seems like this new version of the online video sharing service will host tutorials and other videos created by experts that would help companies improve certain areas of their businesses.

Secondly, everyone is waiting for an anti-copyright filter able to stop all the problems encountered by the parent company such as lawsuits and complaints issued by other media firms. Take for example the Viacom lawsuit, the owner of MTV and Comedy Central taking YouTube to the judge for copyright infringement. However, the case was quite weird because it first demanded the removal of 100.000 clips from the page.

Today, YouTube released a special function of the platform that allows users to customize the appearance of every embedded clip in order to modify the color theme and the content displayed by it. That's why it seems like YouTube evolves in another direction than we expected as the online video sharing service seems to get focused on other aspects about it.
