Artificial Mind and Movement, the developer behind interesting games like Wet, Naughty Bear and many more, has just been renamed to Behaviour Interactive, and also announced that it currently has in development lots of new games, including Wet 2 and Naughty Bear 2.

Artificial Mind and Movement has been an extremely active independent developer, partnering up with different publishers from the likes of EA to Bethesda Softworks, and has studios both in Montreal, in Quebec, but also in Santiago, Chile.

But while the studio, often abbreviated A2M, already had a reputation set up, a name change was needed, in order to better reflect the company, so Behaviour Interactive was chosen.

"The change in name is not only a return to our previous name but also an indicator of the evolution of the company," said Behaviour CEO Rémi Racine.

"We have developed a strong reputation as a high-quality work-for-hire studio as well as a creator of our own original content and will continue to pursue both sides of the business. The new name reflects the renaissance of the company."

But what's more interesting is that the renamed studio is working on lots of new titles, including sequels to Wet and Naughty Bear, among others.

"Wet 2 (multi-platform), Naughty Bear 2 (multi-platform), Doritos Crash Course (XBLA) as well as Rango (multi-platform) ... are all currently in development at Behaviour," said Jamie Leece, senior vice president at the studio.

These decisions are pretty surprising, as the original Wet, although boasting some interesting features, disappointed many gamers through its wonky mechanics, while Naughty Bear, despite being hyped through a wide array of videos, didn't find many fans on the Wii.

Still, Behaviour isn't phased by the lack of success of these games, and is bent on making them better with these new sequels.

Expect more details in the near future.
