14 DAY TRIAL // Weston Cage, Nicolas Cage's 20-year-old son from his relationship with Christina Fulton, has made a lot of headlines in recent months, including for allegations that he's mentally ill. To put these to rest, he's about to star in his own reality show.
Before one particular incident that propelled him to infamy, Weston was best known for being Nic Cage's rocker son.
After lashing out at his personal trainer and getting beaten to a pulp in the street, Weston's personal life became tabloid fodder, which would explain interest in a reality show with him.
Now, it's happening, ContactMusic reports.
“Nicolas Cage’s son Weston and his mother Christina Fulton are to appear in a new reality TV show called 'Uncaged.' Nicolas Cage’s ex-girlfriend and their son are to star in a new reality TV show,” the e-zine says.
Nikki Williams, Weston's wife (who was also pregnant the last time he got arrested for domestic violence some months ago), is also expected to make an appearance.
“Christina Fulton and 20-year-old Weston Cage – who checked into rehab in July and was arrested twice on suspicion of domestic violence following a fight with wife Nikki – have agreed to be followed by cameras for 'Uncaged,' a new VH1 program,” ContactMusic writes.
Clearly, the focus of the show will be mostly on Christina and Weston, and not on Weston and Nikki.
“Christina said the show will be like a modern-day Addams Family. Weston just wants to show the world he’s not mentally ill,” an inside source with knowledge of plans for the future project is quoted as saying.
As it happens, the reality show comes on the heels of Christina's announcement that she would be releasing a music album – which is also called “Uncaged” and, of course, features lyrics trashing her former lover, Nic Cage.
