Three popular Mac applications have received updates from their developers as this week kicked off. All updates are free downloads for their respective users, and can be obtained immediately from Softpedia.

Keyboard Maestro, a custom keyboard utility that allows users to create their own shortcuts and activate them at any time, has been promoted to version 4.3.2.

Announced via an official report posted by Stairways Software, the new version improves the look of disabled actions to make them more obviously disabled.

The developer also added a short delay before saving to coalesce saving (especially when typing), as well as a configurable command for osascript (specifically to allow 32-bit execution), the changelog says.

Other enhancements are listed by Stairways Software as follows:

· Remove trailing line feed from Execute AppleScript · Remove sorting characters "xx)" from KeyCue display. · Fixed a crash in Execute Workflow/Execute AppleScript when the file has disappeared. · Ensure changes to the file/text popup menu in the Execute Script editor sets the modified flag. Floola, the free app designed by Floola.com to efficiently manage the files on your iPod, has been updated to resolve an issue with copying files with international characters, as well as to address support for a particular iPod nano model.

Other fixes are available for issues where loading would hang, or when auto delete unused backup files were on low free space.

VueScan 8.6.51 is also a simple maintenance update, but an important one at that, according to the release notes published by Hamrick Software today.

The developer of the powerful scanning utility has fixed problems with options when changing 'Input | Source', as well as issues with Nikon frame alignment, Epson Perfection 2450 on Mac OS X, and with Polaroid SprintScan 35+.
