14 DAY TRIAL // Hackers of a group called the Myanmar Muslim Cyber Force have breached and defaced the official website of Myanmar’s Ministry of Mines (mining.gov.mm).
According to TechWorm, the hackers have defaced both the site’s homepage and a secondary page located at mining.gov.mm/Styles/magazine_post.htm.
On the website’s index page, the hackers posted the following message: “Hacked by Myanmar Muslim Cyber Force, Admin you are in deep [expletive].”
On the other targeted page they’ve written, “Dear world, Islam is perfect. All Muslims are not. Please don’t get confused.”
They’ve also noted that the site has been hacked to inform its administrators of the “big vulnerability” that plagues it.
At the time of writing, the website of Myanmar’s Ministry of Mines is still defaced. A mirror of the defacement is available on Zone-H.
