Today, on August 14, 2013, Pakistan is celebrating its 67th Independence Day. The country’s hackers are celebrating by launching attacks against Indian government websites.

Earlier today, they’ve breached the official website of Indian Railways. Now, another hacker, MrCreepy of the Napsters Crew, has defaced a section of the site owned by the Pune Traffic Police, The Hackers Post reports.

“Happy Independence Day Pakistan,” the hacker wrote on the defaced page.

Currently, the defacement page is still hosted at punetrafficpolice.gov.in/xmlrpc/m3.html. The Pune Traffic Police’s homepage doesn’t appear to be affected by the breach.

In July, a statement published on Pastebin announced a major hacktivist operation against India on August 14. However, many of the groups mentioned in the statement have denied being involved in the campaign.
