Spam-safe-business

See WebLOQ developing something great. It's a new system that rather than protecting a certain parameter (from spam) will protect the transit channel as seen on eWeek.

So, what is this new measure? Well, have you noticed that your friends don't spam you? Nor do your colleagues at work! Spam always comes from some websites or some botnets, rarely from someone you know. That's unless they have some virus, but anyway, the whole idea is that if you can control who sends your e-mails, than you will have a clean Inbox. So that's what WebLOQ does - it practically generates a sort of domain for you (specially designed for e-mails of course) and you can get your own electronic mail address on it. You and whomever else you let in, of course. So, you get your mymail[at]nospam and so do your colleagues. "Nospam" will be the name of your group, and it will act as a virtual privat community, so, you won't get any messages from outside the community. And the members being only people that are related between them, there is no spam threat!

A big plus is that you can not even mail to a WebLOQ e-mail address if you are not on a computer that WebLOQ considers safe, with an active account on it. Of course, to get an account you need to register, first, and as I understood, not anyone can get inside a community, you have to be invited or something like that. I just love it when cyber-security is based on real life facts! It just gets way better!

This program is known to support a number of popular e-mail clients, like Mirosoft Outlook Express, Thunderbird and MaMail, as well as smart phones, as eWeek informs us.
