83-year-old Jerry Hoffman from Downey, Southern California, goes by the “street name” Kwayzar. He claims to be the oldest rapper to grace YouTube pages with his clever rhymes.

His debut single “I Can Still Do It” was posted in March this year, but it just went viral after causing a stir on Reddit.

Kwayzar raps about being a “young juvenile,” and, well, not being “senile.” He brags about the benefits of pilates and yoga, that helped him with his physique. He tries to fight stereotypes about guys over 80 going soft, and talks about how a good health regimen could keep anyone rapping, even in their 80s.

His “mind over matter” message is not only entertaining, it is quite inspiring. “Holla at a playa!,” as cool grandpa says.
