There is a new young-adult film coming to theaters featuring popular actor Dylan O'Brien. It's called “The Maze Runner,” and much like many other predecessors who did well at the box office, it puts several teenagers in a sci-fi drama that tests their survival skills.

O'Brien is Thomas, a young man who wakes up in a strange maze with no recollection of how he got there. It turns out that he's been sent to a camp where it's believed that boys are used in a mysterious test. None of those in camp have other memories of their lives apart from their names.

The maze is a mysterious and dangerous place that opens up every night and which every day kids called “Runners” try to map out in order to find a way out for everyone. No one ever returns after running into the maze, which is where Thomas comes in, to try and solve the puzzle and rescue everybody.

The love interest is played by “Skins” actress Kaya Scodelario with supporting performances from Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Will Polulter and Jacob Latimore. The film is based on the 2009 best-selling novel by James Dashner and it's supposed to come to theaters on September 19.
