This generator promises to revolutionize the way we harvest wind energy

Having a wind turbine installed nearby a human community is pretty much a touch-and-go type of situation.

This is because some of the people who have to live close to it might love it on account of its producing cheap and environmentally-friendly energy, whereas others might argue that it is both noisy and a threat to local wildlife.

Still, a wind energy generator that has no moving parts whatsoever is bound to please virtually anybody.

The generator described in the video above is the brainchild of a team of researchers working with the Delf University of Technology in the Netherlands.

As they explain, the generator produces electricity whenever the wind blows the charged water particles found on its structure.

The researchers are still working on perfecting their design, but here's hoping that more information will soon hit the public.
