The footage was shot in the waters off the coast of Argentina not too long ago, and it shows two kayakers coming stunningly close to a pair of whales swimming not far from Puerto Madryn's coastline.
I don't know about you, but I for one am quite convinced that, when they first approached the marine mammals, the kayakers had no idea that they were about to enjoy the experience of a lifetime.
As noticeable in the video, the whales take a sudden interest in the peculiar two-legged creatures stalking them, and approach them. At one point, one of the whales lifts one of the kayakers out of the water.
What's more, the footage shows this person's kayak resting on the back of the marine mammal for a few moments. Truth be told, these moments probably seemed more like an eternity for the whale-watching enthusiast.
After observing the kayakers and letting themselves be filmed by them, the two whales leave, probably in search of food or looking to be reunited with others of their kind.
