14 DAY TRIAL // Green group Sea Shepherd has for some time now been putting pressure on Denmark to put an end to the whale slaughter that takes place in the Danish Faroe Islands each and every year.
Clive Standen, star of History Channel's “Vikings,” is now asking that ordinary folks get behind Sea Shepherd's efforts to outlaw these brutal murders.
“I may play a merciless Viking on TV but there’s no place for such barbaric behavior in the 21st Century. Join me in making whaling ancient history once and for all,” Clive Standen says in the video above.
“Real men don't whale,” he adds.
The conservationists and the actor urge that people who wish to support this cause to contact the nearest Danish embassy and voice their disapproval of the annual pilot whale hunt in the Faroe Islands.
