Watch a puffy-eyed Shia play deaf and mute as people queue up to see him

Hearing that Shia LaBeouf stormed out of the Berlin Film Festival and then showed up on the red carpet wearing a brown paper bag on head which had the words “I am not famous anymore” written on it, many people out there were thinking he was losing it for sure.

It turns out that Shia was playing all for fools and making performance art in its purest form. When he announced that he was actually going to be doing live appearances in a special show, people began turning up and queuing for hours just for a couple of minutes with the actor.

Insider footage from his “performance” has appeared online and it shows a silent and seemingly deaf Shia (he's wearing ear plugs) with eyes puffy from crying just sit there awkwardly in front of people.

His show runs from 11am to 6pm every day until this Sunday, but people waiting to get inside were told that it all depends on the artist and his mood. That means that he could stop at any point if he becomes tired, but so far he's proven very resilient.

This is a far cry from the multi-million-dollar-earning actor who stars in Hollywood blockbusters. The trouble is that Shia's performance is hard to believe and is so confusing that many still think it's an elaborate ruse to get people to forgive him for his plagiarizing scandal.

For those of you that don't remember, this all started last year in December, when it was revealed that Shia's directorial debut “Howard Cantour.com” was actually plagiarized from one of Daniel Clowes' graphic novels.

Upon getting caught, Shia proceeded in tweeting plagiarized apologies and then, consequently, apologizing for each one in turn with yet another plagiarized apology.
